Athlete Viewpoint

Overview

Athlete Viewpoint was a sports technology platform I co-founded in 2016. As the technical co-founder, I was responsible for the entire technical stack - from initial architecture decisions through to production deployment and ongoing iteration.

My Role

• Technical Leadership: Owned the full technology stack, making all architecture, tooling, and infrastructure decisions.
• Product Development: Translated the founding vision into a working product - designing features, building the platform, and shipping updates on a rapid cadence.
• Zero-to-One Building: Took the product from a blank canvas to a functional platform serving real users, learning every aspect of building software for a startup along the way.
• Lean Iteration: Operated with a small team and limited resources, which demanded creative problem-solving and a bias toward shipping over perfecting.

What I Learned

Building Athlete Viewpoint from scratch was the most formative experience of my career. It taught me how to scope ruthlessly, ship incrementally, and stay focused on what matters most - delivering value to users. Those lessons continue to inform how I approach every project today.
